Nearby Pinedale, Wyoming is renowned for its extensive network of over 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that weave through varied terrain, thrilling riding for all levels of riders. During your stay, you can rent snowmobiles at Jemas Ranch and venture off on your own or take a trail ride with our seasoned adventure director.
Jemas Ranch’s private frozen lakes are the perfect place to ice fish for trout for both novices and experts. Private, peaceful and close to creature comforts. You can stay the night or buy a daily pass.
Cross-country and Nordic skiing is a favorite pastime of the Wyoming locals. Not only is it a great workout, but it’s a fantastic way to enjoy the winter wonderland around you. It may be a slower pace than snowmobiling, but you’ll definitely get your heart rate up traversing our deep powdery snow. Step out the door and go or drive a short 20 minutes to explore The Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Wyoming is well known for its world class ski resorts. Not too far from Jemas Ranch is the White Pine Ski Resort with all day adult lift tickets for around $50.
Winter also presents unique wildlife viewing opportunities. As snow blankets the landscape, animals such as elk, moose, and mule deer stand out against the white backdrop. You’ll see them foraging for food around the ranch and around town. You’re also likely to spot wolves and at least one bald eagle that makes its home at Jemas Ranch.
